Do You Really Wanna Know?

OK!!!!!!!!!!! I will do this! Now, assuming I can come up with 25 random things about me, is the question.... But I will try, and will list as many as I can. If I can not possibly do all 25, I will stop where it ends, and that's all you get! So....

1. Since everyone likes to put this one, I too am adopted. I was 2 weeks old when I was adopted, so YES, the parents who raised me are my true parents. Period. No, it does not matter to me if people ask me about it, it's just what it is. No biggie. My biological mother lives in Minden, and is a drug addict/alcoholic. Enough said.

2. I majored in 5 different subjects in college, before going back to my true love - writing. I write for fun, I write in anger, I write for other people, I write for action, and I write for boredom. I don't know why I love it, I just do.

3. My other majors were: History, Education, Crimminal Justice, Poli/Sci and Journalism.

4. I am a diehard Obama supporter! And while I respect your opinion and your political beliefs, I still believe what I do. You can not change that, I am too strong willed for that. Also, I am neither Democratic nor Republican... I vote for the person who brings to the table, what I think is right.

5. I am definately not conservative, even though I live in the deep south. I believe in equality for ALL, I believe all races deserve to be treated equally, and every man, person and child has a right to their own beliefs. You want to be homosexual? Fine by me. You want to marry outside your race? Fine by me as well. You want to burn flags and march in the streets? Fine again by me.... I'm not saying that want to live that way for myself, but I certainly agreee with your RIGHT to DO SO. Period. Nobody has the right to tell you how to live..... least of all me.

6. I have 2 children who both have chronic health issues.... my son has Asperger's Syndrome which is a form of Autism, and my daughter has Crohn's Diseas which is a disease of the digestive system. It has been the toughest battle I have ever fought in my life, for the past 5 years. When one situation/hospitalization is out of the way, another something slams us in the face. It happens so often, that it is almost comical..... if it weren't so detrimental and sad. Watching my children suffer is something I would never wish on any one (well, OK, maybe a few!)

7. Is it 25 yet???? Crap - ok, lets see - Think I'll just skip number 7. 'Cause I can :)

8. I hate hate hate people who talk about other people behind their back. I can not stand hypocricy, and have no tolerance for people who live like that. I am me, and love it or hate it, at least I am honest. With me, what you see is exactly what you get.

9. I have lived in Louisiana for my entire life, with the exception of a brief 6 month period in Nashville when I was 18 - wasn't very pleasant. So I came back home, a little wiser, and with a daughter. Thanks Tennessee!

10. I am 36 years old, and I can not stand that I STILL get carded for cigarrettes. WTF?

11. I have a tremendously big mouth, and use it whenever I see fit, and sometimes when not very appropriate. I say what I want, and don't care who hears it. I also don't apologize for it. Most of the time, if something is spewing from my mouth, there is a good MORALISTIC reason behind it. I have a bad habit of standing up for the underdog, and making sure others don't stomp on them. Call it my civic duty, or whatever. Just do what's right, and you'll never hear from me.

12. I read the entire Twilight Series in 5 days, including the one on S. Meyers website that isn't even out yet. Second to writing, I love to read. I learned how to read when I was 3 years old.

13. My IQ is ridiculously high.... it's 142. I really don't care, but some little IQ test thing just popped up on the screen so I thought I'd throw that in!

14. I'm probably dyslexic in math... it's called something, I can't remember. But for the love of God, I can not add numbers or remember them in my head. Not even anything simple.

15. I don't think I'm gonna get to 25.

16. Who thought of this stupid thing to do??????????

17. OH! Here's a good one, I organize my pantry, sometimes alphabetically, or by color, or by whichever OCD area has control over me at the time. I also do the same with my closet.

18. I hate my oldest brother with a passion. We do not speak, and I will not be in the same room with him. It is a long, long story. It took me until the age of 35 to realize that I do have a choice on what I expose myself and my children to, and that I DONT have to tolerate abuse ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!! (even if it is just a scar now, etched into my brain forever)

19. I love Ed Hardy!!!!! I have a bunch bunch of his stuff, and I just love it!! 6 shirts, bathing suit, belt, key chains, bags - and I WILL get more as soon as I get me some more money! :)

20. I hate like heck to talk on the phone. Most of the time, I keep it OFF. I don't know why, I just have always been like that. Sometimes I want to throw it into the wall cuz it won't stop ringing 8 million times a dang day! I can text you from now til eternity, but for some weird reason, I hate to talk. Hate it. Avoid it at all costs. My blackberry does 2 things for me - lets me text, and gives me solitaire. (the card game...ok, and life wise as well)

21. I'm a shopper. If I have a dollar, I'll spend it.

22. I love tattoos. I have 5, and am not against getting more.

23. I love music. Love it. I mean, LOVE it! All of it except country. Music warms the heart, and tames the soul. It eases pain, and can imitate that "warm fuzzy" when things aren't going so well.

24. I love to snow ski, and have been doing it since I was 6 years old. I've been to Breckinridge, Vail, Aspen, Copper Mountain, Monarch, Purgatory and Winter Park, Snow Mass... and I can't remember all of them, but yea.....

25. I can play the piano. I started taking lessons when I was 7, and continued for 12 years after that.
